I cannot actually believe that it is practically the end of October, and in 2 months time it will be Boxing day!! When you think about it; that really doesn't seem that long and while we still have 3 paydays (including this one) before Christmas - that's really not that many at all. So I'm pretty sure that most of this will stay on my wishlist because I'm now getting into the spirit of buying presents for everyone (but you never know; a girl may win the lottery!). I'd love to know what is on your wishlist this pay day!

Hiya Guys, so today is another Halloween look; and I can guarantee that there will be so many girls who dress up as Harley Quinn this year. After the release of Suicide Squad and the fact that queen and drop dead gorgeous Margot Robbie plays her; it's pretty obvious that this will be one of the most popular costumes this Halloween. With that in mind I decided to attempt a Harley Quinn makeup look again using makeup that I already owned! What I used: To create the base: Blend Urban Decay Naked Skin Foundation - Shade 0.5 and Talcum Powder to create a soft whited out skin. Eyes: Using the Urban Decay Alice Through the Looking Glass Palette blend the shade 'Metamorphosis' with 'Bandersnatch' on one eye and then blend 'Cake' with 'Salazen Grum' on the other eye. Then blend 'Mirror' with both eyeshadows, into eyebrows and over face to create brushed look. Finishing Touches: Using the Soap and Glory Supercat Eyeliner draw a tiny heart under red/pink blended eye and write the word Rotten on your cheek. Finally to create her signature red lip use Mac Retro Matte Lipstick in 'Dance with me'. Finish with your hair in pigtails (add pink and blue to the ends of your hair with coloured spray) and add a black choker to create her badass look. Complete the look:
Hey everyone! So we are about to get a little intimate on the blog but bare with me guys... So up until a few months ago I was a little bit self-conscious of my body - I constantly wished that I was curvier and had bigger boobs. I'd put on a bikini or a swimsuit and feel all kinds of embarrassed as everyone around me seemed to be super gifted in the boob department. However recently after constantly reading blogs about body positivity I've gained a little light on why it doesn't matter what size my boobs are; as long as I feel good and confident and happy then that's all that matters. So since I've become more confident with my body I've been constantly buying wireless and unpadded bra's: a) because they are super cute and b) they are super comfy; so here are a few of my top picks for Lingerie this month! All available at Topshop
This is Halloween, this is Halloween... If you didn't sing that in your head to the tune of Nightmare before Christmas; then it means you need to go watch that - like right now! (I mean after you've read this post please). But anyway I love Halloween and I really wanted to incorporate it into my blog - since I'm not much of a baker and most of my Halloween baking seems to come from a box (hello pumpkin muffins!) I decided to do a makeup look for one of my favourite Halloween Characters. The Nightmare before Christmas is one of my favourite films so I decided to take some inspiration from Sally and recreate her look. I really wanted to video it; however I don't own a camera that I can record on plus I was really scared this wasn't going to turn out how I wanted it to - so I decided to document it with pictures. So I managed to create this Halloween Look with makeup that I already owned - so it's super easy to do even without face paints for anything like that. Here's a list of all the Products that I used: Estee Lauder DW light in Intensity 1 Sephora Translucent Setting Powder/Talcum Powder NYX HD Colour Correcting Concealer in Green UD Alice In Wonderland Eyeshadow Palette Soap and Glory Supercat Eyeline Lancomé Blush in Rose Paradis Kylie Lip Kit in Leo Step 1 - First I prepared my base by creating an even skin tone - to do this I used my 'Estee Lauder Double Wear light in Intensity 1'. To me this product feels a bit like a BB cream and since I was changing to colour of my face I wanted to make sure that I started off with a nice even base. Once this was done I first of all used the 'Sephora Translucent Setting Powder' and then combined it with 'Johnsons Baby Powder to white out my face to give me a ghostly complexion. Step 2 - To finish creating the base for my Halloween Look, I used the NYX HD Colour Correcting Concealer in the colour Green. To blend this out I used a beauty blender as well a a powder buffing brush. I recommend doing a section of your face at a time as this product tends to dry pretty fast making it harder to blend, also this way you can make sure that each bit of your face is equal in colour! DON'T FORGET TO DO YOUR NECK! (I did mine after I took this picture!) Step 3 - To create the look of 'dead eyes' I decided to use my UD Alice through the looking glass eyeshadow palette as it had the most perfect blues and smokey colours. To create the look of hollowed eyes like sally had I used the colours 'Heads will Roll' - which is light turquoise colour, 'Bandersnatch' - which is a deep blue colour and 'Time' which is a black-navy satin with a slight sparkle. Once blended together these colours look perfect if you are going for the 'dead' look. Step 4 - To create Sally's signature stitches; I decided to use the Soap and Glory Supercat eyeliner and it is such an intense black. To add a little bit of depth to the stitches I used the Alice in Wonderland palette again in the colour 'Dream on' which is a metallic purple colour. I also used this eyeliner to create the wispy lashes that Sally has. To add a little more depth to the face and neck I used the colours used on the eyes just blended into the face and the neck; and then added my 'Lancomé Blush in Rose Paradis' to my cheeks and blended that in slightly to create the slight glow that Sally seems to have. To finish the look I used my 'Kylie lip kit in the colour Leo' to create the red lips that she has. If you are thinking of going as Sally for Halloween then here are a few items to help you finish off the look; also don't forget to bring the makeup all the way down your neck and make sure any skin showing if consistent with your face. I'd love to know what you all are going as for Halloween, make sure you let me know!
Trick or Treat anyone? It's that wonderful time of year again (no, not Christmas - although that'll be up on the blog very soon!) IT'S HALLOWEEN. I love Halloween, I really wish I lived in America whenever it comes to Halloween because they make such a big thing of it; where as in England - it's not that big of a deal! So when it comes to Halloween the most annoying thing is deciding what to be; I mean you don't want to cliché but you also don't want to be the scariest person in room. Let's face it; Halloween costumes can be expensive and who wants to spend £50.99 for a costume that doesn't really fit you properly and you won't wear ever again. So in the spirit of spending more money on things you actually need and less money on the 'Cheerleader costume that actually makes you look like a clown' costume - I've scoured the online shopping universe that is ASOS for the ultimate Halloween accessories to give you a 'killer' halloween look (see what I did there!). All available at ASOS: Just search Halloween! I'd love to know what you are all planning for Halloween, be sure to let me know!
