Hey everyone, so I got tagged in this by the lovely Emmie of carpediememmie.co.uk (go check out her blog).I hope you enjoy reading hers and enjoy getting to know me through mine.
Rules: After being nominated by a fellow blogger; you need to write 10 things that you LOVE and 10 things that you HATE. After you are finished tag 10 other bloggers to take part in it! Love: 1. Animals. I am a self confessed animal lover; every time I see a puppy on the street or a rabbit at pets at home I get all fuzzy inside and just want to go cuddle it. When I see any animal on TV I just get so happy and want to have one of my own. 2. Disney Films. I know I know I am such a big kid, but they just take me back to my childhood when I used to watch these with my family. You can just put on a Disney film and all your worries are just far behind you. 3. Shoes. I am a shoe hoarder, I honestly own so many pairs of shoes you could probably fill a whole house with them. I always get told that I don't need anymore shoes but come on, a girl can never have too many shoes. 4. Christmas. I am like a child at Christmas time, it honestly just makes me feel so happy - with the cold mornings where you can cuddle up in a cosy jumper with a hot chocolate and I love to get the Christmas tree and decorate the whole house. 5. Tea. I have at least 5 cups of tea everyday (I don't think that's good but I do). I always have it with milk and no sugar (because I'm sweet enough). 6. Pictures. I love to take pictures of special memories and hang them up on my wall because every time I look at the picture it brings back the best feeling! 7. Winter. It is my absolute favourite season, I love the cold frosty mornings and the anticipation of snow. Also lets not forget that Christmas and my birthday are in the winter. 8. F.R.I.E.N.D.S - Now it absolutely fathoms me how anyone can not like this show, it is hands down one of my favourite sitcoms ever. I, much like most people know every episode word for word. 9. Alice in Wonderland. I love Alice in Wonderland, whether it be the books or the films. I even had an Alice in Wonderland inspired birthday cake for my 18th. 10. My family. My mum and dad are my heroes, my sister is my biggest inspiration and my boyfriend is my rock. I love them all so much. Hate: 1.Traffic Jams. They are my worst nightmare, I get so nervous if there is loads of traffic around and also I'm very impatient so they just really annoy me! 2. When people put other people down. This is one of my biggest pet peeves; just because you don't like someone or don't understand what they are going through/doing, it doesn't mean you can make them feel bad and upset them. 3. Insects. They creep me out so much, just the way that spiders move, the amount of legs some of them have and when things fly near me and just hover. Erggghhhhhh. 4. Spots. I suffer quite bad from spots at time and every time I get them it just stresses me out and then I get more spots. 5. Boy Racers. I just don't understand people who race on roads with their huge exhausts that make loads of noise. It really annoys me how dangerous some of them drive (Not all but some) 6. People who say that being curvy is more attractive than being skinny. Everyone is beautiful in their own way and body shaming should never be allowed. Love your body. 7. Laptop and phone batteries. When you are nearly finished writing your blog post or essay and your laptop dies or when you've only been on your phone for 20 minutes and it's gone down 30% - it's possibly the most irritating thing. 8. When people don't keep their promises. If you don't want to do something then don't promise that you will do it, simple. 9. When I can't do something; I am a very determined person and when I can't do something it angers me and makes me upset. 10. Having oily skin; working in a fast paced restaurant part time does not help this. My face can get unbelievably oily at times and I always seem to be there with my powder foundation trying to prevent that shine. Hey everyone! Hope you are all well. So it's that time of the week again where I share with you who is giving me inspiration. This week is Rich Kids of Beverly Hills star: Dorothy Wang. She is the absolute queen of social media and is often seen carrying her signature Birkin bag and if you don't follow her on instagram and twitter then you really should (@dorothywang). So here is a few of my favourite Dorothy looks: See you next time guys xo
Hey everyone, hope all is well with everyone! So it's coming towards the end of summer which means everyone will be returning to school and university and it will soon be Autumn - and you guessed it, that means it's time for a wardrobe update *cue me crawling through shops and online stores for about 2 weeks lusting after all the new season*. That being said I'm going to share with you my top 5 Online retailers this season and why I think you should check them out! 1. www.inthestyle.co.uk First up is a website that I have only recently visited but have found some absolute gems on; at a great price! They have a range designed by Charlotte Crosby from Geordie Shore as well as a range by Lauren Pope. The clothing and accessories available range from £3-£50; with free delivery on orders over £50. Much like most of the online shops across the web it keeps up with relevant trends but at a fraction of the price; below is a look at the website along with a few of my top picks. 2. www.forever21.com/uk/ Now I'm sure that everyone has heard of Forever 21 and if you haven't then you definitely need to check it out - it's brilliant! Forever 21 definitely keeps up with all the latest trends as well as allowing you to get celebrity style at a great price (many celebrities including the Fifth Harmony girls love Forever 21). Clothing and accessories tend to range between £10- £40 with the odd exception - I'd definitely recommend this one girls and to make it even better there is free delivery on purchases £50 and over! Below is a look at the website along with a few of my top picks. 3. http://www.wildfoxcouture.co.uk/store/ Again this is a website that I've only just discovered but I love it. The website and clothing has such a vintage/80s feel to it with many slogan tees and gypsy style dresses! The clothing is a little bit more expensive than any of the other online shops I go to, but it's totally worth it. For a limited time only there is Free UK delivery with any orders before 1.30pm being dispatched on the same day; the price ranges between £20 to £200 but honestly girls it is definitely worth it! Below is a look at their website and a few of my top picks. 4. www.prettylittlething.com I'm sure most of you have heard of Pretty Little Thing at which case you guys must agree with me that it is amazing. Most of the time there is Free Next Day delivery or some kind of discount which is great for all us girls on a budget and the prices of the site range between £5-£60. The collection that they have is allows up to date with the latest styles; where they take much of their inspiration from celebrities such as the Kardashians and Gigi Hadid. It's easy to find any style on this site with them putting collections and lookbooks together for our benefit! Below is a look at their site and a few of my top picks. 5.http://www.missguided.co.uk/ Last but not least is probably my favourite online retailer of all time and if you haven't shopped here then you definitely need to! Their collections are always up to date and up with the latest styles; with new items added pretty much every week. (If you look at my closet about 50% is from misguided!) There is student discount available *oh hey student loans* and also Free UK next day delivery on orders over £50 and prices range between £4-£70. The have a brilliant new campaign called the 'babes of missguided' which features bloggers, models and even singer Pia Mia! This online retailer is a must to visit; below is a look at their website and a few of my top picks! I hope you all find some brilliant clothing and enjoy reading my post. Lots of love xoxo
Hey everyone, First of all I know this is a little off topic but I recently started a twitter and a pinterest dedicated to my blog (click the links on the sidebar and give me a follow if you want) but I know that a lot of bloggers find that snapchat really helps them engage with their audiences so if you want to follow my snapchat (it's mostly just videos of me walking my dog and pictures of new clothes I've brought - but I want to connect with more bloggers!) then the username is @hannahryan09. Anyway I will now get back onto topic of what this post is about and that is LIPSTICK!! I have such a love for lipstick and you will mostly always find me lusting over them at any beauty counter. That being said I'm going to share with you a few of my favourites from a few different brands and I'll leave links to the websites on the brand names. The first one I want to tell you about is from Sleek Makeup and is the colour 'VAMP MATTE'. This is such a great colour and I find it is perfect for the Autumn and Winter; for me I find it adds a kind of gives an old school glamour feel. It retails at £4.99 so it is an absolute bargain and honestly it is one of my all time favourites! Second is my Topshop lipstick in the colour 'Black Widow' - unfortunately it is currently unavailable (whether that's because it's been discontinued or whether they are bringing it back in the winter I don't know). But this lipstick is honestly such a beautiful colour for the winter that I think everyone should own it or at least one like it! It is a very deep purple colour with a very creamy texture and leaves you with a matte finish. Here is one just like it if you are interested: Mulberry. It is such a gorgeous colour and adds such a dramatic finish to your make up look - it would be perfect for Halloween or Bonfire night in my opinion. The third lipstick which I love is a recent purchase but is definitely taking centre stage at the moment! This is from KIKO cosmetics; which I just got introduced to and I'm so glad I found one of their stores in Nottingham - it's basically make up heaven! So this Lipstick is called Velvet Mat - 604 Bright Orange and it's honestly so beautiful. It retails at £6.90 and comes in a lovely Rose Gold packaging (let alone the lipstick being beautiful the packaging is just as beautiful!). It adds such a colour pop that can brighten any outfit. Girls be sure to check out KIKO Cosmetics! The fourth and final lipstick on my list is my treasured MAC lipstick which is a very close colour to the KIKO one mentioned above but just with a more reddish tone. My parents went away and came back with the gorgeous 'Lady Danger' for me to try out and I instantly fell in love with it. It really brightens up your face and make up without being too bold. It currently retails at £15.50 and is available both on the website and in many department stores. I hope you guys like this post and if you have any products you'd like me to try or write about, let me know! See you later guys! xoxo Hey guys, so it's that time of the week again where I tell you who is giving me inspiration - (let me know who is giving you guys inspiration in the comments). This week is Game of Thrones star 19 year old Sophie Turner who plays Sansa Stark. I honestly love her style and her character on the show so here is a few of my favourite looks from her! Follow her on Twitter: @SophieT |
