Cult products, we've definitely all bought them just because we didn't want to miss out. This was exactly me when it came to the Pixi X Caroline Hirons Double Cleanse. I have honestly tried so many cleansers, that it is safe to say that I am addicted to skincare but I find it somewhat difficult to find the right formula for my combination skin. Naturally I was super intrigued by the idea of a 2 in 1 Cleanser. I'm sure you are more than likely aware but just in case you aren't! The first step in this Cleansing Routine is a Solid Oil Cleanser whereas the second step in this Cleansing Routine is a cleansing cream. The cleansing oil is used to remove makeup and dirt from your face and the cream is used to cleanse the skin and add moisture back into your skin so that it is ready for the next step of your skincare routine. So this product is actually my first purchase from the Pixi range so I just had to review it and let you all know what I think! | THE FORMULA | Okay, so this one thing that tends to be make or break for me. For instance if something is too thick or has too much of a fragrance I am instantly put off. But honestly that just isn't the case when it comes to this product. The solid cleansing oil was a strange one for me to begin with, as I didn't understand how it would apply to my face! #1 THE CLEANSING OIL Anyway once I began to apply this to my (dry) face, the formula instantly became more liquidly and I was able to apply this evenly across my face in order to remove any dirt or makeup - I particularly focused around my nose and eye area as these are the parts of my face that seem to not budge when it comes to other cleansers. As this was an oil and I do have combination skin, I was mindful of applying too much of this on my already oily T-Zone and chin. After applying this and seeing makeup instantly lifted (more like melted aha) from my face, I removed this with a muslin cloth making sure to remove all product. #2 THE CLEANSING CREAM The cleansing cream is packed with skin loving ingredients such as Vitamin C and Arginine so is perfect for somebody like me who seems to have sensitive skin when it comes to harsh ingredients. This cleansing cream feels so luxurious to massage into your face and most definitely doesn't feel like it is going to clog up your pores. Again I remove this cleanser with a muslin cloth and my skin feels all pampered and clean. WHAT I THOUGHT I am a girl who likes to get the most out of skincare but with minimal steps, so I was a little hesitant to begin with about a 2-step cleanser. BUT now I am a changed women, this doesn't feel like too much work at all! My skin has never felt cleaner. The oil cleanser is perfect for removing stubborn makeup (I'm talking Matte Red Lipstick) whilst the cream feels so luxurious on your face that you almost feel like you are moisturising. Although many websites state that this product is more suited for someone with Normal Skin, I have to disagree even my combination skin was loving this product! My skin feels cleaner and brighter just with this one little change. If like me, you are new to cleansing balms or double cleansing then I would definitely recommend this product - at £24 it is such a good price for such good skincare! I can't wait to try some more Pixi products - what is your favourite cleanser right now?

Another day and another celebrities style that I want to steal! With the recent events of Coachella there has been so many styles that I've wanted to wear and Selena's style was definitely one that I was channelling. Selena seems to make just about anything work and like many of my style icons, seems to go from Red Carpet Glam to Street Style Stardom with the click of the finger. Selena has definitely influenced a few of my most recent purchases - for instant two-toned panel jeans and round sunglasses have given me the Selena inspired look I've wanted for a while (I know, Mean Girls moment "Selena Gomez wore two-toned jeans so I wore two-toned jeans). So I've added a few little images to my style icon board and just had to share them with you! Be right back, just going to raid Zara, Mango and H&M to find some more Selena inspired pieces! Who's style are you channelling right now?
Denim probably makes up about 80% of my wardrobe - and if you see me in something that isn't Denim then I'm probably trying to move out of my comfort zone. Despite this whenever I'm wearing jeans they are probably most likely going to be black skinny jeans, I know so predictable of me... However I've just took a 360 on saying I'd never wear any jean that wasn't skinny! Since I have been working in a Press Office and have had access to looking at so many different styles throughout the showroom, I've found myself reassessing my personal style and adding new things and trying things out to try and find new looks that I love. So whilst I want to change up my personal style, I'm taking baby steps and starting with denim. When I first set eyes on these two toned jeans it was love at first sight, and after days of deliberation I just couldn't resist. The gorgeous two toned relaxed jeans are perfect for the Spring and I love the distressed ankle details on them. Paired with a classic white shirt and my irresistible Pink Leather Jacket this is a look that I could wear over and over - opting for different ways to wear my shirt such as in the deconstructed way, or with a different jacket such as my Khaki Utility Jacket.
What changes have you been making to your wardrobe this Spring?
Anyone else find Spring one of the hardest seasons to dress for? Yeah me too. One minute there's a chill floating through the air and the next you are ripping off layers right, left and centre. Okay so this is probably a little dramatic of me, but you get the point! I personally love when Spring comes around because it's really a time to change up your wardrobe and embrace all the new trends. One trend that I still absolutely love is the "bardot" trend - this is always a difficult one for Spring as your shoulders are likely to get a little cold at some point and trying to wear a jacket with a bardot is just plain right difficult. But I'm trying to embrace it this Spring and find ways that I can work it in to my wardrobe; so with that in mind I decided to plan out 3 different ways you too can wear this trend this Spring! #1 Back to basics The Bardot bodysuit is perfect as it can literally work for any outfit. I love a bardot bodysuit as it can turn a normal outfit into the chicest look. This season I'm really favourite a white bardot as it works so well with vintage blue jeans or a vintage ditressed denim mini skirt. #2 Favour the little details I'm a sucker for pretty details and with Spring has come some gorgeous details added to clothing. Whilst I'm still a huge fan favourite of detailed sleeves; the bardot has also incorporated some gorgeous details; my personal favourites this season are bows, corsets and lace up details. #3 Go for the prints No, I'm not talking florals (for Spring? Groundbreaking) but their is definitely a Cuba Trend right now: Palm and Banana Leaf Prints seem to be everywhere and let's not forget about the gorgeous Gingham Trend. A printed bardot will bring any outfit to life and will likely get you in a summer mood! I really can't get enough of this trend, how do you plan to wear the bardot trend this season?
Easter weekend saw the first weekend of Coachella! But I'm sure you knew that already since it seems to have been everywhere on social media... (honestly I'm totally not jealous one little bit). As I've said far too often I am obsessed with Coachella and obsessed with the fashion that it brings. It seemed that this year, literally EVERYONE attended the festival. My social media was filled with photos, videos, instagram stories and boomerangs of my favourite bloggers and celebrities at Coachella. From the first weekend I have been given so much inspiration already and I just needed to share it. I always look to Coachella as a way to change up my wardrobe and this year has been no different - so I thought I'd share a few of my favourite looks from this past weekend! Whose Coachella look have you been loving this weekend?
